Technically speaking, this verse doesn't specifically address growth or renewal. So why did I include it in this series? To me, the great lights that God created work in perfect harmony to provide for a daily cycle of growth and rest. Both growth (change) and rest (renewal) are vital to all of life, physical and spiritual. They serve very different purposes and neither should be neglected!
