Dabbling in Graphics

My daughter-in-law pinned a graphic and said that she would like it for the boys' playroom.  I went to the site to take a closer look.  I wasn't intending to purchase it but noticed that the poster-sized print was no longer available for sale.  So I thought "Hmmmm.  I wonder what I could come up with using PicMonkey."

About an hour later, this is what I had come up with...

Not too shabby for a first try!  I would post a link to what inspired me but there isn't a picture of it there anymore.  I'd like to make some more.  Any ideas?

    1. If it is the one that I am thinking of... that's a little bit outside my current ability :-)

  5. I love this poster print! I've been playing with wall word art for a little while now and even decided to open an Etsy shop to sell digital downloads. So far it's doing pretty well for our first month in business :)

Here's our shop if you want to check it out: All Our Day's Etsy Shop

This is one of the prints we now have hanging in our home. I printed it as a 24x36 engineering print at Staples for about $3. Anything black or grayscale can be printed as an engineering print for super cheap :) I framed it with a $10 poster frame from Walmart, so it's quite a big statement for under $15.

    1. Great idea for an Etsy shop, Allyson! I hope it continues to do well for you. I've not printed off the graphic as I am still fine-tuning it to coordinate with Zachary and Amanda's home. Too many irons in the fire at the moment!
